There are different levels / types of being poor. Most think in terms of money and being able to feed yourself. But poor of health is horrible and pain can prevent someone from dealing with all other types of poor. Everyone recognizes that knowledge / skill is the way out of poverty [also non-laziness] ... but knowledge may also be truth. The poor of truth is oppresive in so many ways. Falsehood in religion (paganism, buddhism, etc) lead to a very poor version of what life should be, both now and eternally.
