How Can I Help?
A lot of people want to help others but simply do not know how to get started.
Be Active with a Local Outreach
This entire system runs on volunteers. Although the printed resources and the buildings used for this work are great tools, they are not the goal of the outreach. The goal is to help people and it is the volunteers sharing their time with others that will accomplish the goal. If there is no local outreach in your state yet, consider starting one.
Wanted Items
Donations to an outreach need not be just monetary. Donating food or raising a food donation event can be quite helpful. Sometimes help can come in the form of lending your car out for their use or acting as a driver to get people where they need to go. Games, puzzles, and activities for the children are wonderful (including blank paper that can be used for a multitude of activities). In this digital age, old (functional) computers and tablets can aide in learning and education as well.
