Statement of Faith

From Scripture Advocate

Messiah as Savior

Accepting the Messiah as Savior is the only thing necessary for salvation and eternal life. Any person or group that denies the Messiah as Savior or which teaches other works are necessary to have eternal life will not be able to act as Staff or Volunteer.

The Battle with Evil

There are both physical and spiritual elements to life. As such, the problems that people have should be dealt with both physical and spiritual methods. The spiritual side of life includes (but is not limited to) angels and demons, blessing and cursing, and miracles. Those actively learning these concepts can still act as staff or volunteer.

Love Your Neighbor

The second greatest commandment is to 'love your neighbor as yourself'. Loving one another is a high calling, and each should try to care for one another in brotherly love as well as one is able.

Authority of Scripture

Scripture is the authority. This means that individual church or denominational traditions are not to be taught by those acting as staff or volunteer.

Literal Creation Account

Accept a literal creation account. This would include a young earth view of history including literal understandings of such things as the Flood of Noah's time and the Tower of Babel. Those actively learning these concepts can still act as staff.

Life is Special

Life is given by the Creator and is, therefore, special. Life is to be encouraged. Things that take away life, such as abortion and euthanasia, will be discouraged by the campus and no aide given to those following such a path.
