Children's Education and Skills
Path of the Righteous Warriors Book Series
The Encouraging Life Children's Mission will produce three of it's own educational book series aimed at children, teens, and young adults. Each series will have reading books and workbooks.
These books will teach the same lessons as the Encouraging Life Seminar and include the primary themes of relationship, reality, responsibility, righteousness, and resisting evil.
Passport Program Activities
The Encouraging Life Children's Mission will also design sets of activities and learning projects that can be given to the children, teens, and young adults. Probably based much on earning merit badges in scouting and similar programs, there will be a 'passport booklet' to collect their badges and achievements. These programs will be geared towards more useful skills in life.
Daily Living Training
Family relationship is one of the core areas of life, and therefore, is an area of great importance. This can include the topics of family, parenting tips, honoring parents, modesty, and marriage.
Many other types of relationships exist (such as fellowship, co-worker, friend, citizen, etc.) which can also be encouraged. These topics can include the general ideas of submission to authority, etc.
One of the great troubles of modern society is lack of good health. Proper nutrition and activity are beneficial to life in many ways. Topics can include learning how to cook.
Many people have not been trained at making short term or long term goals nor have they learned to follow through and receive the benefits of achieving those goals. Topics can include living within a budget or dealing with finances.
The concept of honor has largely disappeared from modern society. However, concepts of respect, of doing a job well, and of holding oneself to a high standard of righteousness is needed.
Tutoring
Along with other programs to help with an education, volunteers can help individual children with tutoring in subjects that are needed.
