If Scripture is true, then the Deceiver is not merely our enemy, but the leader of the demonic rebellion who, for purposes of his own self-indulgent shemes, tries to either make man kind follow himself or neglect the spiritual aspects of life altogether.

Not a Myth

Throughout the world, basically all cultures recognize the existence of an 'invisible' evil that opposes life. Scripture has much to say about our adversary and his kingdom of ???. Yet a surprisingly high percentage of believers are ignorant of his attacks or dismiss him as myth. We should ask: Can a myth lead a rebellion in Heaven? Can a myth stant and speak to the Eternal? Would the Messiah bother to argue with a myth? Our enemy is real and he comes to attack and destroy mankind.

Leader of the Rebellion

He is the leader of the Heavenly rebellion. This is not the role he was given, but was one he chose because of his pride. Instead, he was created (possibly as a cherub) and was originally good. For the purposes of his own self-indulgent schemes, Satan has worked to deceive mankind into following him rather than Elohim and exalt himself as a god and make us children of disobedience.

Destroyer of Life

Satan leads an ongoing rebellion against righteousness in th espiritual and disobedience to the covenant in the physical which brings curses and death to mankind.

Denying the Word

Our Adversary desires that we deny the Word of Elohim and even our Creator's very existence, ignore the spiritual aspects of life, and to follow the lusts of the flesh including pride, power, and money.

The Thief

Our enemy is a thief, who will try to steal life both now and eternally, who must be chased off and filling the environments with uncleannes and abominations which must be cleansed.

Causing Deception and Confusion

Our Adversary desires that we deny the Word of Elohim and even our Creator's very existence, ignore the spiritual aspects of life, and to follow the lusts of the flesh including pride, power, and money.

Fallen Angelic Army / Demonic Realm

The enemy has both a spiritual army and a physical army - the worst of which have access to spiritual weapons. lthough the fallen angelic creatures known as demons are powerful, through the Messiah believers have been given an authority that is ultimately greater in this battle.

Fighting Dragons

We all have our own battles in the fight for purity, a pure white amidst the 256 shades of gray and black in the world, and make the things of this world that oppose the Kingdom of Heaven unimportant.
